Help the Aged
Help the Aged is an international charity fighting to free disadvantaged older people from poverty, isolation and neglect.
DHA was asked to develop arguments and influencing to secure an extension to the limits of the Goods, Facilities and Services Act, relating to older people. Set in the political context of the discrimination law review (Equality Bill), Help the Aged is concerned that age is not an important enough part of the drive for equality.
DHA is also training Help the Aged’s public affairs team to equip them with the skills to move policy forward in the future.
