Made up of leading figures in charity, faith, business and politics, the Making Good Society report, the result of an Independent Commission of Inquiry- funded by the Carnegie UK Trust, makes a pre-Election case to harness the energy of civil society, to play a greater role at every level of life.

Inquiry Chair, Geoff Mulgan, said today:

“This reports sets out a radical agenda to claim back power for civil society – calling for a definitive shift from doing things ‘to’ and ‘for’ people, to doing ‘with.’ It is a much more radical agenda than any of the parties have yet engaged with.”
