Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority
Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority (MWDA) manages and disposes of more than 800,000 tonnes of waste a year on behalf of five local authority partners.
MWDA needed to maximise the profile of their waste management strategy so that it would make an impact on the behaviour of the waste-producing public. They also needed communications support for a £2 billion exercise to procure a new generation of waste management facilities across Merseyside.
DHA’s strategic approach aimed to establish MWDA as an organisation that places waste management at the heart of everything it does, as well as connecting the Authority to broader agenda issues such as regeneration, recycling and the image of the region.
We provide a comprehensive communication service, including public consultation, proactive media support & monitoring, communication planning, alliance building and success evaluation.
