Musicians Union
DHA was commissioned by the Musicians Union (MU) to investigate why the MU’s membership was declining, and how current and former members view the organisation. 300 people were interviewed by telephone and a further 30 face-to-face.
Analysis was presented regionally, and by age, gender, musical sector, etc. From the results DHA produced a handbook for the MU proposing steps to increase membership. Subsequently, membership of the MU increased 5% in the following year.
