EQUIP-Tanzania is a four-year, DFID-funded, Government of Tanzania programme targeted at improved quality of education, especially for girls across Tanzania. Representing one quarter of the primary education system, with 3,680 schools, approximately 49,000 teachers, EQUIP-Tanzania will support more than 2 million girls and boys across 48 districts to have an equal opportunity to access and benefit from quality education.

DHA support EQUIP-Tanzania to implement this programme through innovative and effective communications and operational strategies: learning and dissemination plans, knowledge management systems, internal and external media platforms, advocacy and stakeholder engagement and monitoring and evaluation structures.
